Each year during the 3rd week in April, we celebrate our 911 Telecommunicators. At today's meeting, the Board of Commissioners proclaimed this week, April 14-20, 2019 as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. These men and women are the unsung heroes behind the headsets. They are the first person you speak with when you call 9-1-1 for your emergency. These dedicated employees of the Chester County Department of Emergency Services work tirelessly to ensure that each and every one of our first responders stay safe and go home after every incident.
