[ARCHIVED] National Law Enforcement Blue Ribbon Appreciation Week

Police Officer Blue Ribbon Appreciation Week

National Law Enforcement Appreciation Blue Ribbon Week

May 13-19, 2018

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a law designating May 15 of each year as Peace Officers Memorial Day to honor the law enforcement professionals who have been killed or disabled in the line of duty.   BLUE RIBBON Week represents a vote of confidence from citizens for all peace officers and law enforcement agencies.

At a recent Chester County Board of Commissioners meeting, the Commissioners called upon all citizens to display a blue ribbon and “Fly the Blue” honoring and supporting all peace officers and law enforcement agencies throughout Chester County.
