Free managing risk webinar scheduled for Tuesday, May 26th, 3:30 p.m.
The Chester County COVID-19 Business Task Force is hosting the first in a series of webinars for county businesses and organizations looking to reopen, revise or even expand operations due to the impact of the coronavirus.
This first webinar, scheduled for Tuesday, May 26th at 3:30 p.m., focuses on preparing businesses and organizations of all sizes and types to determine their risk of transmission of COVID-19. Led by Lucia Mullen, MPH, an analyst at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security and a research associate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the webinar will introduce participants to a toolkit that enables them to identify their business’ area of risk, with suggested modifications to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.
“With this toolkit, employers can work through a four-stage process to not only calculate and understand their risk, but also receive examples of mitigation measures to increase the safety of their employees and customers,” said Lucia Mullen.
The webinar is free and will be hosted by Chester County Commissioners Marian Moskowitz, Josh Maxwell and Michelle Kichline. It is backed by the County’s nine chambers of commerce, and other economic, education and government leaders - all members of the Business Task Force. To join the webinar, go to https://chesco.org/4496/Johns-Hopkins.
In addition to developing and scheduling a series of webinars, the Chester County COVID-19 Business Task Force is preparing a web-based resource with practical and downloadable information specifically designed for Chester County businesses and organizations, and for Chester County residents. Under the banner of “Restore Chester County” the website will help Chester County businesses, organizations and residents confidently and easily navigate their way through the re-opening process, providing both overall and industry-specific guidance relating to COVID-19.
