Chester County Board of Health

The Chester County Board of Health is comprised of a minimum of five resident citizens, including two licensed physicians. Board of Health members are appointed by the Chester County Board of Commissioners and serve a term of four years.

The purpose of the Chester County Board of Health is to provide scientific, technical and administrative input in support of the Chester County Health Department’s mission to provide public health leadership personal and environmental health services to residents and visitors so that they may grow in healthy and safe communities; and to ensure the Department is using public health best practices, and quality improvement strategies.

Board of Health Meetings

The Chester County Board of Health meets the fourth Tuesday of every month (except July and December) from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Government Services Center in Suite 295 unless otherwise noted. Public access to the meeting is supported through Zoom as follows:
