Hazmat Team participates in Radiological Exercise

On Saturday, April 29, 2023, the Chester County Hazardous Materials Response Team (HMRT), Station 15, traveled to Lampeter-Strasburg High School to participate in a radiological response team exercise with the Lancaster County Hazmat Team and the PA Department of Health.   The Department of Health was testing a new electronic registration system to be used at mass reception sites that will be established during an emergency at a Nuclear Power Plant.  

HMRT integrated with the Lancaster County team to perform radiological monitoring of several hundred members of the public who volunteered as victims for this exercise.
