Check your Mail-in or Absentee Ballot Status

If you included your email address when applying for your mail-in or absentee ballot, you will receive notifications when the:
  •  application is processed
  • ballot is sent
  • voted ballot is returned to the Board of Elections
If you applied by paper application you can track the status at
“Pending” means your absentee/mail-in ballot application was processed and approved.


Chester County Voter Services staff are working seven days/week to process mail-in ballot applications and to return them to applicants. If you have applied for a mail-in ballot and have not received it AFTER FIVE FULL BUSINESS DAYS HAVE PASSED, please submit the ballot inquiry form. Responses may take 24-48 hours, so please only submit one request.
