Coronavirus COVID-19: Nasal Swab Testing for Chester County
Chester County Health Department supports testing as a key strategy in the mitigation of COVID-19. The need for testing changes as the pandemic changes. Fortunately, in Chester County and Delaware County there is more than one way to access testing.
Before seeking testing it is recommended residents use CDC’s symptom checker to assess if you should seek testing or medical care.
If you believe you have contracted COVID-19, or have come into close contact with someone who has COVID-19, please contact your doctor first, as they know your health history. It is preferred that you get tested by your doctor, or they refer you to a testing site.
If your doctor cannot test you, use the Chester County map or Delaware County map to locate testing sites. The type of test, hours and number of appointments available vary at each testing site.
Testing sites run by the Chester County Health Department and Delaware County are reserved for individuals who are symptomatic, those with limited access to a doctor, or those who have been instructed by the Health Department to get tested. Therefore our appointments are limited.
