Community Bridge Building Conversations


The Chester County Sheriff’s Office has been facilitating and engaging small-group community conversations with law enforcement, youth and communities of color. The purpose of these gatherings is to build bridges for change through deep listening and better communication with neighbors. Yukon Introduces - K9 Marley
January 13th is a special day for the Chester County Sheriff’s Office. On that day in 2020, Sergeant Janis Pickell got Marley, a dog who became part of the office’s Canine Unit, a group of K-9s and handlers who help people. Read more here.

The Chester County Sheriff's Office fingerprinting services are available FRIDAYS 900 am-3:00 pm. Schedule appointment online or call 610-344-6850.

CCSO's Lock it for Love


The Chester County Sheriff’s Office offers online programs about gun safety and locking guns for the general public and social service agencies. Free gun locks for individuals are available at the Chester County Sheriff’s Office in the Chester County Justice Center. To arrange a program and request a batch of gun locks for your group, please email [email protected].

Backpack and Stacks


In late summer, the Chester County Sheriff's Office provided school supplies to youth served by CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and families needing a hand.

McGruff Safe Kids


The mission of the National Crime Prevention Council and the McGruff Safe Kids program is to be the nation's leader in helping people keep themselves, their families, and their communities safe from crime. To achieve this, NCPC has produced FREE McGruff Safety Kits, that YOU can use to help kids and others in your community learn about crime prevention and safety.


Think S*A*F*E* Program


The Chester County Sheriff's Office is pleased to announce the availability of the Think S*A*F*E* Program. This program is taught exclusively by the Chester County Sheriff's Department. The program provides a proactive, esteem building, age appropriate action plan for children facing various dangerous situations and escaping from danger.

Safe Kids


The Chester County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to offer the installation of child safety seats to the citizens of Chester County. Deputies in the Sheriff’s Office have been trained through the National Safe Kids campaign as certified installers.

TRIAD


A program to help eliminate victimization of Senior Citizens. Sponsored by the National Sheriff's Association , International Chief's of Police Association, and the National A.A.R.P. This program is headed by the Sheriff who acts as liaison to the S.A.L.T. Committee (Senior and Law Enforcement Together) to address the specific needs of the Senior Citizens of Chester County.
