Legal Advice

Frequently, the Recorder of Deeds office will receive requests from the public to draft new deeds, determine if there are liens against a property or determine if a piece of land has been subdivided. Instead, we can provide basic information on how to find this type of information.
If you are trying to draft a deed or other document for recording and have the requisite authority to do so, please reference our Recording Guidelines and Fee Schedule webpages to ensure you are fulfilling the basic requirements for drafting and recording documents under Pennsylvania rules and regulations.
