Chester County Tobacco Free Coalition
About the Coalition
The Chester County Tobacco-Free Coalition (CCTFC) is a collaborative community effort dedicated to preventing the initiation of tobacco use among youth, promoting free cessation options to both youth and adults, advocating for smoke-free environments and reducing the rate of tobacco sales to youth under the age of 18 in Chester County. The coalition was started in May 1999 by the Chester County Health Department; members include hospitals, clinics, schools and universities, local health agencies, community organizations, government agencies and legislative representatives.

Smoking Cessation Programs
The coalition is dedicated to providing free individual and/or group cessation to those that are ready to live nicotine-free. Please view the options below for a cessation program near you. Cessation is most successful for those utilizing combination therapies. For example, using Nicotine Replacement Therapy, or NRT (the patch, Chantix, etc.) and registering for a cessation class at one of Chester County’s free locations would be a combination of therapies that yield success.
