93rd Annual Old Fiddler's Picnic

A Celebration of Music ~ A Reunion of Friends



Join hundreds of musicians and music lovers to celebrate the 93rd Annual Old Fiddler's Picnic.

Vendors + Activities


Enjoy the stage show or stroll through the event grounds as musicians play tunes using a variety of instruments such as guitars, banjos and mandolins, performing styles such as bluegrass, old-time, and gospel. 

Vendors include crafts, foods, and novelties. Grab lunch from one of the great food trucks!

Children and those new to string instruments are encouraged to learn by observing and talking to the musicians in this relaxed atmosphere. 

Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged. 
Tents and canopies are not permitted within Fiddler's Field. 
Alcohol is prohibited. 
Pets are welcome but must be on a six-foot lead.

Camping



Camping at Hibernia Park during Old Fiddler's weekend is available on a first come, first serve basis  by registering online. There are two camground areas:

Fiddler's Campground is enclosed by woods but close to Fiddler’s Field and Mercer Stage. This campground is recommended for small camp trailers and RVs. There is no dump station available. Quiet generators are permitted.

Lake Campground is partially-wooded, partially-open and within view of Chambers Lake. Boat/kayak launch accessible. Tent camping only

  • Camping fee: $15 per night, per campsite.
  • A maximum of 6 people and 2 tents per site.
  • A maximum of 2 vehicles are permitted at each site. Be sure to fill out and use the hang tag in your vehicle.
  • All campers are required to adhere to all Campground Rules & Regulations
  • The person registering must be at least 18 years old and one of the campers.

Hibernia Mansion Tours


Take a wagon shuttle or enjoy a walk along park roads to see Hibernia Mansion. Guided tours of the 19th century Ironmasters home will be available at 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM and 4 PM. $3/person donation requested. Shuttles will leave the event area at 12:45 PM, 1:45 PM, 2:45 PM and 3:45 PM.
