IMPORTANT: VOTERS AND FACE COVERINGS:POLICY CHANGES
Due to guidance from the CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health, released on May 13th, the Chester County Health Department has rescinded its previous order requiring anyone entering a polling place to wear a face covering.
To be clear, face coverings may be worn by anyone who chooses to do so. The Chester County Department of Health has advised that the County should follow the new recommendations regarding face coverings by the CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health and that voters should still attempt to maintain a 6-foot distance whenever possible. Please be advised that guidance from the CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health is still in effect, which recommends face coverings for individuals that are not fully vaccinated. We understand this change is last minute and apologize for any confusion this may cause. Over the past year we have had to adapt to many changing Federal, State and County policies. We appreciate your cooperation through it all. We will continue to offer an abundance of PPE supplies that poll workers and others are welcome to use.
