As part of the Chester County Tax Claim Bureau's commitment to provide customers with efficient, convenient service, Chester County has partnered with Municipay to offer secure acceptance of electronic payment of delinquent real estate taxes. Payment of delinquent real estate taxes may now be made
using your credit card or electronic check.
Payment will be credited within two business days of the transaction. Partial payment will be accepted. MuniciPay charges the customer a fee of 2.25% of the payment amount or $2.00, whichever is higher, when using a credit card. There is a flat fee of $1.50 for an electronic check transaction. Chester County does not receive any of these fees.
You will be required to enter a
when paying on-line. Please note that the fifth digit in the parcel number must be either an underscore or an uppercase letter.
A confirmation number will be provided
. Please write down this number as a record of your payment. The charge will appear on your credit card or bank statement - the tax amount on one line; the convenience fee on a separate line.
Due to the upcoming Upset Tax Sale, the E-Check option will be unavailable from Wednesday, July 1, 2015 to Tuesday, September 15
, 2015. Credit card payments will be disabled at 4:30 P.M. on Friday, September 11, 2015 and will resume on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
