Activities & Recreation Programs
Our Activities staff provide a wide variety of recreational programs to
meet the needs of our residents for mental and sensory stimulation,
social exchange and self-expression. Activities may take place at the
bedside, on resident units, in small group settings, or may be a
community outing with transportation provided. We offer specialized
programs for dementia and Alzheimer residents.

Join a special group of people that help provide a happy, homelike environment for the residents of Pocopson Home. Share your unique skills or talents with us. Volunteers are always needed in the following areas: Corner Store, reading stories/newspapers, letter writing, knitting, crocheting, drawing, coloring, playing cards, games and puzzels, pet therapy visits, memory sharing, and musical entertainment.
