Camping


Campgrounds are currently closed for the season and will re-open in May 2017


For 2016, camping at Hibernia County Park begins May 6 and continues weekends only through the end of October, weather permitting. Camping is available on Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday nights for the weekends of Memorial Day and Labor Day. 

  • The camping fee is $15.00 per night, per campsite
  • A maximum of 6 people and 2 tents are allowed per site. 
  • Only 2 vehicles are permitted at each site. Be sure to fill out and use the hang tag in your vehicle. 
  • All campers are required to adhere to all Campground Rules & Regulations 
Availability is first-come, first-served. Registration for campsites is handled at the park office. Self-Registration is also available if the office is closed. The person registering must be at least 18 years old.

Campgrounds


Fiddler's Campground

 is enclosed by woods but close to Fiddler’s Field and Mercer Stage. This campground is recommended for small camp trailers and RV’s. There is no dump station available. Quiet generators are permitted. 

Lake Campground

 is partially-wooded, partially-open and within view of Chambers Lake. Boat/kayak launch accessible. 

The 

Group Campground

 is available for youth groups, such scouts or church youth groups. Reservations required. Call 610-383-3812 for reservations and pricing.

Old Fiddlers' Picnic Weekend


Reservations are only required during the annual Chester County Old Fiddlers' Picnic. Sites must be reserved for both Friday and Saturday nights. The event is annually held the second weekend in August.

Amenities 

 

Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring. Water hydrants (potable water) and latrines are available. We do not offer water/showers or electric “hookups”. 

Pets

Pets are permitted in the campgrounds. All pets must be on a leash, attended to at all times, and cleaned up after. They cannot be left alone in the campgrounds nor be be disruptive to other campers. Horses need to be secured to hitching posts and must be cleaned up after.
